IllustrationZinesMiscAbout Me

Hi there :)My full name is Isabella Cristina Ramia Orellanas, but people call me in different ways. You can keep it short and sweet and call me icramia. I’m a Venezuelan illustrator and storyteller. For as long as I can recall I remember myself drawing rabbits, flowers and faces. Every time I have something to write and something to scribble on, I suddenly find myself drawing. I will surely do it all my life since all my life I’ve done it.But I not only love to draw. I deeply love telling stories.I’ve devoted my adult life to exploring the transmission of Meaning. All throughout my college years I focused my attention in studying the usage of communication and the interpretation of its multiple codes and languages. Hence, my natural inclination for drawing became a critical urge to illustrate narratives and its core elements.I am inspired by theater, ballet, tarot, latin american writers, mythology, the attempts of poems I write about my love life and the storybooks I used to read when I was a child.
